Mono – The Heart of the Headwaters

Mostly settled by 1860, the Township of Mono officially became the Town of Mono in 1999 and lies within the South East corner of Dufferin County in Southern Ontario. Nicknamed ‘The Heart of the Headwaters,’ Mono is known for its pastoral setting, tree-covered rolling hills, and winding creeks and streams. The Niagara Escarpment runs through the Town of Mono, giving way to breathtaking views and copious hiking trails offering a wealth of opportunities to hike, ski, golf, horse ride, vineyards and enjoy an area within easy access to the GTA with all amenities within easy reach.
